Eleonora Duvivier was born in Rio de Janeiro, where she attended the Lycée Français. Coming from a family of artists, she also held two exhibitions of paintings there.

Having studied philosophy at Boston University, King’s College (London), and at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), she started to give priority to expressing herself through the word, rather than through visual images. She went to college in this country, and has lived in it for longer than 20 years, writing both in Portuguese and in English.

She currently writes blogs for a Brazilian site and continues with the development of her main manuscript in English.
